The predecessor of Shanghai Salvage, "China People's Salvage Company" was founded.


1951
Diving inspection to find out the cause of the sinking of Yuejin, the 10,000-ton ocean-going freighter, which had made great contribution to the development of the Chinese dive team.
1963
Foundation of Shanghai Diving Equipment Factory and Wuhu Diving Equipment Factory, which gradually developed into a well-known research and development center of salvage and diving equipment manufacturing base in China.
1975
Wreck removal of Japanese passenger/cargo ship The MS Awa Maru.
1977
Establishment of COES & also deliver of 2000T floating crane vessel DA Li Hao.
1981
Foundation of subsidiaries of “Salvage, Marine Construction & Service Company” and “Towing Company”.
1986
Towing of 150,000T floating dock from US to Singapore by Ocean-going tug De Da.
1989
Heliox Diving to the depth of 116m for Huizhou 21-1 project.
1990
Towing of Kiev Aircraft carrier from Russia to Tianjin by Ocean-going tug De Yi.
2000
Company China officially changed to Shanghai Salvage Company, Ministry of Transport.
2003
Transportation and Installation of pier columns and bridge floor beams of section II of Donghai Bridge.
2005
Adopting 200m Saturation diving equipment to the depth of 103.5m, which is a breakthrough in China.
2006
Wreck removal of "YinZhu" Vessel in one piece, and also wreck removal of large Dredger “Fen Wei” vessel in the same year.
2007
Successfully wreck removal of 40,000t iron ore bulk carrier “Zhong Chang 118”.
2008
Successfully wreck removal of large dredger vessel “Ao Sheng 65” through Trenchless pilot drill technology.
2009
Win the contract of Yacheng 13-4 Phase I & II Gas field development project as EPC contractor.
2011
Wreck removal of the container ship “Bareli”; One new company Base & Wharf at Heng sha island was founded.
2012
Complete the mission of 300m Saturation diving and break a new record in China at water depth of 313.5m.
2014
Wreck removal of the sunk ferry “Oriental Star”at Yangtze River.
2015
Towing of FPSO “P67” from Brazil to Qingdao, China, followed by “P69” ,“P70”,“P71”ocean towing in the following years.
2016
Complete wreck removal of SEWOL in one piece at South Korea water which has won high praise from international community.
2017
Complete the 113,000 tons condensate oil tanker “Sanchi” salvage.
2018
Complete the Dalian Zhuanghe Offshore wind installation project.
2018
3000t Floating Crane Vessel Wei Li complete 10 years global operation which including Southeast Asia, India, Mexico, USA, Norway, Netherland, gulf states and then back to China.
2019
Complete the project of 3648 landing section construction as EPCI contractor in Saudi Arabia.
2020
Complete the mission of 500m Saturation diving.
2021
Complete wreck removal of Kea Trader vessel at South Pacific Ocean; And in the same year set off the mission of X-Press Pearl wreck removal in Sri Lanka.
2021
Adopting the world's first "non-contact integrated removal & transfer of cultural relics of ancient vessel at Yangtze Estuary through the curved beams”.
